Inspiration at the Ohel

BH

image1.JPGIt was early in the morning,
Praying by the Rebbe,
It was only my third time there,
The feelings are similar to Israel,

The cool brisk morning air,
The beautiful solar morning glare,

The hot cup of coffee to my right,
As I pick up a pen & begin to write,
My father is sick, please help him through,
I pray for his health in the merit of you.

I'd never asked the Rebbe, a question before,
But something came over me, as I picked up that pen,
Why not I said, and wrote something neutral,
Say something pertaining,

To the girl I'm dating,
So I opened the book,
And came to a page,
I could barely understand it,

Cause it was written in Hebrew,
So went to the rabbi sitting on the side,
And asked for him to interpret,
This fine letter of mine,

I didn't inform him, of my question to the Rebbe,
I just asked that he translate the words in the page,
As he began to read, the words of the Rebbe,
I immediately understood, he was talking to me,

Good words of good fortune, blessing and love,
Came down from a place way up above,
There was no yes or no,
Just easy cool advice,

As he finished reading the letter and asked if it would suffice,
As I replied, I looked at his fingers,
And he was pointing to the words, that spoke to me the most,
An experience for those,

Who treasure the truth,
An experience for those,
Who are fortunate enough,
To have the words of the Rebbe on the tip of my tongue.

May we all have exactly what we need & want in life. God bless!
