Studio
This studio was built by our members for our members as well as other young men in the community to develop their natural talents into a fine art. Never before has there been such a powerful opportunity for our young men that have right here on premises at Aliya.
Our on site manager and sound technician are ready to bring your potential into reality. Options are also being made available for music video production. It has been a major undertaking and investment for us to get where we are today and grateful to Hashem and all our members and volunteers for getting us here. The studio will be open daily from 12pm till midnight Sunday through Friday as well as Motzoi Shabbos.
Chanukah Concert 11
Chanukah 11
Aliya's grand Chanuakh concert which featured 6 bands many of whom are our own members was extremely uplifting. Each and every band performed superbly and the joy of Chanukah was palpable to all the young men that came. After dancing to the first 5 bands we all went outside to watch our very own Tamim Sruli Hahn light the Giant Menorah. We sang and danced “Haneiros Halalu” outside then came back inside for the final performance by Schneur Hasofer. After he was done the elated crowd wanted more so Dovid Joseph and his band came back on to perform the song that his guitarist Moshe Bornstein had just composed about Chanukah.

MEZUZA DEDICATION OF iJAM
Last Thursday night Aliya members sanctified Aliya’s new iJam recording studio with Mezuzos and a picture of the Rebbe. Although the studio is still not completely finished and not technically required to have Mezuzos yet, the guys felt we should already have Mezuzos. Erez Safar put up the first Mezuza and made the Bracha being that he was the sponsor. Afterwards we gave the honor of putting up the rest to other members who were around for the farbrengen.

Purim 5770
Purim @ Aliya and around Crown Heights was absolutely pumped with positive energy. Our Purim began with lots of young people coming to Shule at 7:30 Motzoi Shabbos to hear the Megillah. After Megilla we joined a party at Bais Rivka which was organized by “The Shule” and “Itchkes”, (both shules which were pioneered by Aliya Alumni). The following day we met up at my house 1353 Carroll St. and boarded a stretch Hummer Limousine and drove around Crown heights blaring Jewish dance music and delivering Mishloach Manos To Aliya supporters. Following the trip we had Yitzchok Geizinsky Lein the Megilla and then enjoyed a lively Purim Seuda which went well into the night.

One Thursday night we had Mr. Yaakov Rosenthal, renown graphologist who is able to read into your subconscious through understanding and analyzing your handwriting. Initially many were a little apprehensive but once a few of us did it and learnt many interesting things about ourselves, everyone else waited for their turn in line. My Rosenthal was seeing about 5 people per hour from 930 till 230am. Friday morning many guys called me to thank me for arranging this very informative and introspective program

Click here for some pictures. More will be on their way.
Chanuka Mivtzoim 09
Chanuka and Mivtzoim 09
One Chanuka night over 20 young men packed onto a 25 foot Mitzvah Tank and set of from Aliya to Manhattan in search of Jews who had not yet lit a Menorah. It proved to be a truly powerful night (and morning). We discovered that the best place to find Jews late Thursday night and early Friday morning was outside bars and clubs. Fortunately we had lots of help locating them all. We pulled up outside and invited people standing in line in subzero temperatures to come in for a warm bowl of cholent, some latkes, and a chance to light the Menorah. Many took advantage of this hard to resist offer. Plenty even joined us for the ride and said later it was the best Jewish experience of their lives.

Ski Trip Shabbaton 5770
Shabbos Bo was the Ninth annual Ski Shabbaton in Tannersville, NY. It truly lived up to its reputation as an amazing Shabbos, spiritually and physically. Delicious Shabbos meals were thoroughly enjoyed and were filled with song and inspirational words from the Rabbis. After Shabbos many confessed that it was the most meaningful Shabbos they had experienced possibly forever and many made resolutions to take Shabbos more to heart from now on. Motsoi Shabbos included a barbeque and bowling. Sunday morning we woke up at 7 to daven, eat and head to the slopes. Sunday was a truly amazing day and the ride back to Crown Heights was very quiet and sleepy

4 great Rabbi's, 30 awesome guys, Rebbetzin Feiglin's and Adam's delicious cooking and a grand celebration of the Baal Shem Tov and Alte Rebbe's B'day.

Annual end of summer camping trip
Camping 09
Monday morning we loaded the cars headed North-West to the Delaware river bordering new York and Pennsylvania. We reached the destination early afternoon, loaded our rafts and started rowing down the river. As it began getting dark we pulled over to the side of the river to make a fire and camp out for the night. It was a freezing night and even the fire and sleeping bags could warm anyone enough to fall asleep. So it was an all night kumzitz. AS the first crack of light showed up on the horizon we said brochos and boarded the boats prepared the boats for the second leg of the journey. WE rowed down the river as the sun was rising. It was a truly beautiful sight. After we reached our destin
